6. Override assignment rules mean, we will ignore the Zoho assignment rules and just ring the number in the field, for example like a main sales queue. Its called FROM number, but it is the first number (your company number) that the ringout dials in order to then connect the customer.
7. Set up your users. Go to Set Up and Click Users.
8. Enter the desired phone number for each user in the phone number field. This can be a group queue number, and a direct extension. Important: RingCentral admitted that a direct number will not work here due to a bug in their system. You have to put the main number and their extension as below:
9. So if a user gets a lead either via assignment rule or a workflow, it will dial them, agent will need to press 1 to connect the call to the lead (customer).
